Fields

Yesterday I was all depressed for a while- I have no job, no marriage, no kids, no career, poor health, the honeybees are dying and Jesus does that suck.  Here's a link to Mark Morford doin' his thing on that.

So, I went walking.  Exploring if you will.  Often the only thing, step by step, that settles me down like a post in a hole, for a while.

I found two folks walking slow, heads down, out in the middle of a corn-field.  This on the campus of Warren Wilson College, where the kids have to learn to grow corn, apparently.  May be a good thing to know about.  Maize and all.

Actually, they do have to learn to grow corn, cure a hide, even make a hoe-cake with an real hoe. Great school guarding the hallowed banks of the muddy Swannanoa River, a place I love.

So, this couple's walkin' slow.  I yell over from a respectable distance,   "HEY WHAT ARE YOU LOOKING FOR".  He yells, irate: "WHY DO YOU WANT TO KNOW" Me: "I"M JUST CURIOUS".  Anyway, this couple and me take an instant shine to each other, once all paranoia is out of the way.  They're 'head hunting' where they shouldn't be, on campus, and it turns out this guy knows all about the indian sites along the River and I'm psyched.

10 minutes later, I find the second arrowhead of my life.  Pottery shards lay such that I didn't even pick them up.

Yee Haw!  And you can feel the vibe of this place- right here was where the village stood.  Right there, could be, right where the river used to be, is where they danced and sang. 

I love that shit. Connects me to my heart- and more research is telling us that the heart is able to tune into non-local fields, with a kind of 'feeling resonance'.   Intuition if you will.  Feeling- not mere emotion.   When you can tell the difference between emotion (heart energy filtered through your own personality 'filters') and feeling, which in the case of the heart is somehow not personal.  That's how you can tell.  Feel down for the Fields.

Heart Sanctuary.  Great organization, world wide, that simply works with tuning into the heart, energetically, without any other bullshit to confuse you.  They have free intros in many cities, including Asheville- check out the site- I've been a bunch and they rock- if you don't mind 90% white middle aged women and some silly music at times.  Totally life changing, very easy thing to do- but your ego may scream.  It's used to more control than the Heart would like.
