Malls of America

Mall
Ah, the loneliness of malls........

I let the flood of so many memories of malls stream through my mind this morning-  then I remembered how as a kid I'd love to look at catalogs- is that what we called 'em?  I'd look at one page and pick the one thing from that page if I could have anything on said page.  What drama.

Anyway, the mall memory session closed early.  Thank God.

But all in all there was a fine memory of when me and my insane identical twin buddies Devin and Derrick hit the 'close gate' button, at a mighty mall, and heard a deep chucka-chucka-chucka grinding noise, and took off like faeries out of heaven..........

Anyway, this moto is of the Grove Park Mall, here in lovely, spring time Asheville.  An old, very cool building and as malls go, this one aint bad!

Cheers!

Oh yeah- I'm not a big sports guy, but I do like NBA playoff basketball- and there's a killer series on as the Golden State Warriors- Cinderella story- has the best team in the league- the Dallas Mavericks- on the ropes- playing with pure passion way over their heads- and it's a blast to watch the Oakland fans have the time of their lives.........one thing about sports- at least they're not acting.   Also, I have to say if your not watching the Colbert Report on Comedy Central you're missing one of the greatest wits, and leaders actually- of the modern world.

And, what the hell- the Coast to Coast community is one of the biggest 'alternative' communities in the world today- and one of the sanest, without a doubt.  Art Bell is a true leader, and a damn fine one.  For 6 bucks a month you can stream every show- 3 hours a day- of some of the most important topics around- that you won't see anywhere else, much.

I'm just saying- this is such an amazing time to be alive- but as Fear grips the collective, you'd better find a tribe.   Not so much so you can survive- although that might be fun- more that you'll be able to make some sense of the chaos.  Be sure to find the right tribe!!!
